Long day (s)

Yup, just concluded one of those today. Seems to be a daily occurence with many closed ones and acquaintances. Just quite amazed at how much one can learn when one's guard is let down, and how many opinions one piece of work can get.
On one hand, I don't feel like my writing's improved heaps in school, but on another I've gotten a new job offer based on a recent article, which I've just been informed by my editor that it's been noted by the event's PR agents, and not in a good way :( I scoured through my story and looked hard for any signs that might have triggered their responses.
